big sister

So technically this should be titled “little sister”, since I made this bag after the one I made the other day. But the other one was actually an accident as it turned out way smaller than planned. I didn’t calculate right and that’s how this one came to be:

I spent the weekend at my parents’ and finally made the bag the way I had intended it to be:

See? It’s bigger. Wider. I miscalculated the width with the first one; I wanted the bottom to have a certain width and cut the fabric in that width instead of adding the depth of the bottom to it (make sense?). But now I’m happy and hope that its new owner will be, too.

So therefore big bag = big sister and little bag = little sister.

    Danke ihr beiden! Ich benutze im Moment die kleine Schwester (die große geht die Tage auf Reise in ihr neues Zuhause) und ich glaube, ein kleines bißchen größer wäre super. Es ist schon ziemlich eng mit dem ganzen Kram, den Frau nunmal mit sich rumschleppt :D
